Hey There!
I'm Rebecca Jackson, the founder of Pee Dee Black Expo. This organization was created to empower, connect, and uplift Black professionals, entrepreneurs, and creatives in the Pee Dee region. We provide networking opportunities, business showcases, and educational events that amplify Black excellence and create meaningful connections. Whether you're looking to grow your business, advance your career, or find a supportive community, we're here to make it happen.
Our Story
“When you lift up one, you lift up us all.” This belief is the foundation of Pee Dee Black Expo. For too long, Black entrepreneurs, professionals, and creatives in the Pee Dee region lacked a space dedicated to their growth and success. Resources were limited, networking opportunities were scarce, and visibility was a challenge. So, we created a solution.
What started as an idea quickly became a movement. We host networking events, business showcases, and workshops designed to elevate Black excellence. Our goal is to provide the connections and opportunities needed to foster success—both individually and as a community.
Building on this mission, we’re launching Mom-Get Up, a new initiative to support melanated mothers in the Pee Dee. Whether you’re a new mom, expecting, or an experienced mother, this program is designed to motivate, uplift, and provide the resources you need. From wellness events to mentorship and parenting workshops, we are here to create a network of support for mothers in all walks of life. Because when moms thrive, families and communities do too.
